Oceania Milk Processing Facility Glenavy (Oamaru)

Fire Solutions have been involved in this large milk processing facility in Central Otago since inception.

The first phase being the design Fire Protection Services to the Drier Tower, Dry Store, and Boiler House with the second phase being the Fire Water Supplies to this green field site.

The project entailed the scoping, detailed design, supply, installation and commissioning of the Fire Water Pumps, Fire Sprinkler, Pre Action Dry Pipe Sprinkler systems, Fire Alarm and Fire Hose Reel systems to the new dryer dry store storage facility and Boiler House.

Following on from the above initial stages Fire Solutions have recently been engaged for the 2016-2017 expansion of the site, with contracts for design and build of all fire systems to the 34,000 sq m dry store, a new Canning and Blending Facility and UHT Plant. Our services entailing complete in house analysis of the existing site fire reticulation, liaison with NZ Fire Service, advise to the client’s engineer on fire systems design, detailed design following presentation of lump tender bids, the supply and installation of all fixed fire systems and associated commissioning and certification.
